The 9000 Series hybrid curtain wall is halfway between an aluminum integrated framework system delivered un-assembled on site (also called « stick ») and an aluminum integrated framework system assembled at the plant and delivered on site as a complete unit  (also called « sealed » or « unitized »).

A conventional curtain wall is assembled on site; a frame fitted in-plant with glazing is then installed. With this system, the building seems to be completely made of glass. Installation is quick and simple; no aluminum components are visible from the outside.

Glazing is not the sole option for pre-fabricated panels; panels can be clad with granite, aluminum, ceramic, steel or other watertight materials selected by the
architect.

Moreover, should glazing be damaged, panel replacement takes only a few minutes, unlike conventional silicone system were work is done on site and requires hours.
